...and I have my disc golf. Smoked a 2 year old obsidian petite corona and shot-6 playing every hole as a par 3. First time out in a year and I'm excited for the season!

It requires just as much skill as traditional golf and it's a lot of fun. I started playing when I wasn't making enough money to afford to golf and while I don't play as much now that I make more money I still enjoy it. I live in one of the biggest disc golf areas in the country, we have more courses vs our population here than anywhere but 1-2 places. If you guys are ever in my area I'd be happy to play a round or two and I'm pretty good at teaching so if you need help with mechanics I'm pretty knowledgeable. My brother and I have played competitively a bit...

No, unfortunately I haven't. I go to Chicago quite a bit because my GF's family is from there but normally our schedule is so busy I don't even bring my bag. One of these days I'll get around to it though! We have a lot of really nice courses though, if you ever want to make a trip let me know.

I used to be a frisbee maniac and played ultimate in college, but have not picked one up in years. The other day I got lost in some backwoods country town and there in the middle of nowhere was a disc golf course. I jus seemed like an oasis in the middle of the Stix.

Ya! It's amazing how much the game has proliferated!

I hope you find out that you have some friends that are playing it and get on out there and give it a whirl...
