Weren't they in Nicaragua before they went to DR?
The soil will probably give the tobacco a very different taste! So hopefully they will maintain their farms in DR for their current lines. Especially the Opus line.

They were, IIRC, they left for the DR after a catastrophic fire that destroyed their whole operation

How about a Nicaraguan Opus? The possibilities seem endless.

I'm sure good things are coming.....Some will scoff, but Nicaraguan tobacco is damn near as good as Cuban. Just my take.....
