Foundation El Gueguense?
I saw these on SmallBatch and wondered if anyone has bought or better yet had a chance to smoke the El Gueguense? I know there is a story behind this first release from this new company and they are a much anticipated release by a bunch of cigar lovers. I went ahead and ordered a blind 5'er of Robustos.
Any thoughts?

Just got one in the Cigar Authority Care package for the month so I will be trying one soon. They sent the Churchill so I just need to find a day when I'm not doing anything else ! LOL

Tony, sounds like a nice care package. Buying this 5'er was done totally blind so I really don't know what I'm buying. Hopefully they will be good. What I do know is the are a Nica Puro done by Nick Melillo of Drew Estates fame and when he parted ways he was committed to a non compete for a period of time, which has been spent blending this cigar as he starts his own company. I have a feeling this might be a good one.

It is definitely on my list to try.
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

I'm not sure I can pronounce it. I keep trying, but my lips end up on my lap!...
Like my father before me, I will work the land,
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand.

I've heard Nick Melillo talking about it. He says it's pronounced El Way-when-say. It means the wiseman IIRC.

I wouldn't have had a damn clue how to say it if I hadn't heard him talk about it!
