It occurred to me last evening as I was smoking a San Lotano Oval, that I hadn't heard a lot about them in a couple of years. It seems like all of AJ's other blends started to take the spotlight off of the Oval, which makes sense since everything AJ Fernandez blends turns into a best seller. But I still LOVE the Oval.

Forgot about that one too! I used to love the Oval Maduro Toros.

I used to love those!!! La Duena rocked my world for a few months, but I have a short attention span & to this day they allude me.

I'm really tempted to get a few and see if they have gone to hell or just been forgotten. I guess when the NC industry seems to be largely driven by "What's New?!" Good cigars fall away just based on sheer volume of brands.
What are some other brands that you guys haven't seen in a while or used to love but haven't had in a long time?
Thank you for reminding me about Curivari, I need to go grab some now...

even better than some of the well known names, I bought a few boxes. After they got going and became bigger, all I had was issues with
about every stick they made. No draw to wrappers blowing up. Haven't touched one since although I really liked what they were doing.
Viaje seems to have fallen off the radar, they were doing some really good stuff and I still have some sticks from about 5 years ago.
The Satori line was one I really liked.
Just had a Last Rites the other night and it was crazy how plugged it was. An absolutely amazing cigar, but the draw was quite literally making my mouth feel fatigued.

I just thought it was the cigar being fairly fresh from my B&M. I had the same problem with a Last Rites recently.

I've forgotten about all the forgotten cigars that I've forgot about. Bottom line is that there's so many cigars that you can't have them all in your humi. I don't know how many times I see a cigar and remember that I liked it and wonder why I don't have any in my humidor. The La Duena along with the La Reloba are nice cigars that we don't hear about much.....

@Demuths1770
@Horseshoe
are you surprised Collin had yet another plugged cigar?
You can't listen to what
@04EDGE40
says about anything. He must store his cigars outside, in the bushes or something because he's always whining about this cigar being plugged or that cigar not burning right. Not sure he has ever smoked a cigar he has stored and it has been "well made".

How could he ever smoke a "well made" cigar, When Sir Dog Rockets who can smoke a well made cigar, understood that His Excellency defines thus decrees: "Only a Gurkha shall be considered to be well Made." And His Excellency has every last one of the Gurkhas ever made.
Don't be deceived by advertised sales of Gurkhas.....those are all counterfeit, mere Opus , etc.
