Finger Cigar Bags

So what is the consensus on finger Cigar bags. Are the worth it? I know over the years I have had people send me things in them, but I never went out of my way to get any. Do you prefer them? If so why, and where is your preferred source to get them.

I like them for cigars that have no cello, but don't go out of my way to get them. The biggest issue for me has been finding a place where to buy them not by the pallet.

I like them for shipping non-cello sticks too. Provides the protection of the cello. Not too much moving around to destroy the wrapper.
As far as buying, I remember guys doing splits because if I remember right, they sell the in bundles of 50 or 100. They're not expensive but you'll have bags for quite a while unless you're bombing every day.

I like them and use them quite a bit. Great for the non-cello sticks and they take up alot of room in the flat rate so usually no extra packing is needed to keep them from bouncing around. The thing I don't like is they just aren't quite tall enough to squeeze in a small Boveda with them. I bought them from cigarbags.com but yes they do come by the 100 and I think I'm on my second order of 5 finger bags. Cost isn't bad, but the shipping sucks.

I've found that if you put the cigars in an oversized zip-lock bag, get all the air out, roll them up together tightly, and then tape them in place, not much can happen to them--even cigars with no cello. And I always have enough shipping materials leftover from my CigarBid orders that I don't really ever have to buy supplies. The finger bags probably offer more protection, but I've never had any issues.

Yes and no. There will always be a little movement and that's all it takes for the sand paper effect to destroy your sticks. I've had done this to great success though when I can sandwich cello sticks in between non cello sticks, and it also gives you an incentive ti include body guards.
