The only Anejo I've had is the 50 and it was indeed my favorite of any cigar I've tried, much less maduro. I will say that I'm a maduro man though. I probably smoke maduros 20-1 over everything else combined.
My favorite maduro less than $10 is the AF 8-5-8 maduro. Great smoke.

Its a tie between Anejo and about any Padron maduro. I even like their regular line maduro like 2000 or 3000.
