Wow, Someone Knows Me
Famous Smoke Shop Shipment Packaging
Hey, Ryan from Famous Smoke Shop here.
Just curious to hear what some of you may have to say about ways we could improve the packing for our shipments? Throw in a Boveda pack? Something other than bubble wrap? Etc.
Would love to get your feedback and see about working your suggestions into our process.
Any other questions, comments, or suggestions on how we can improve the cigar shopping experience for you are more than welcome as well.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan, I have never had an issue with how my packages show up.

Hey Ryan,
First off, thank you for being a valuable asset to this great site!
As I member who has ordered from you in the past, I think the only thing would be the adding of a Boveda pack. I usually go with standard shipping, so the cigars are usually on the road for a week or so. Does it really make a difference in the end? I don't know. But I believe that the companies that already have this method of shipping get extra "props" for showing they care regardless.
Just my .02 cents.
Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

Never had any issues with shipping, Ryan. Bubble has always worked well for me. I'm sure if you threw in a Boveda pack NO ONE would complain.

Everything I've ordered from Famous has come just fine. They spend so little time in transit I don't know that a boveda is necessary.

I get 7-10 days of transit time in New Mexico, so don't suffer from very fast deliveries using the cheap/free option. I like Famous' packaging, and the freebie cigars they throw in once in a while. If you throw in a boveda, maybe saran wrap it all together.

Well, many of us have the discipine to let our shipments acclimate in our own 'dors when they arrive.
Of course, AFTER sampling at least ONE ROTT (right off the truck). In a pourous cardboard box, would
a Boveda REALLY make much of a difference, at all? IF all the sticks were sealed into a giant ziplock bag,
perhaps, LOL.
I'm due to give you guys another slice of my biz soon. My orders have been bubble wrapped on the 5-ers
& singles, and air-pillows to close the emptiness. I think it's just fine at this point. Thanks for coming here
to ask us.

I think they're fine as is. They ship wet so I have no problem with them shipping without a boveda packet.
