First experience with tubos

yea i know most high RH cigars are harsh but i have read low RH (and not like 60% but like low 50%s or not being in a humidor) are extremely harsh. they say a cigar drops 1% RH a week when resting in a controlled environment. im sure it will drop the same if not more if its not in a controlled environment which i would consider a tubo that's closed

They did not seem dry or brittle at all. My experience is opposite. I used to store and smoke at 70%, then I tried 65% and a lot of harshness and acrid went away and my CC's are even lower at 62-63%. Even with the caps on, they were kept in my wineador which is 65%.

It's possible they are just in a "sick" period of of the aging process. Open them up and give it a few months before you try another.
