Dying Tolerance
I have a new pair of trail running shoes for backpacking that I've been breaking in before I rely on them. So today I decided to take a stroll through the neighborhood and smoke a Kudzu as its been several weeks, if not a month, since I've been able to have time to myself to puff away.
Though the previous 4 were just fine with me, and I've noticed how I've handled med-full smokes well, I ended up a little nauseous. Apparently my tolerance has slid a bit!

It happens quick...
I've learned the hard way to ease my way back into cigars after a forced little break.

I find sometimes as I smoke while walking, I tend to puff more frequently. Maybe this contributed?

This may well be the case as I was having burn issues and my lighter gave out on me so I was also puffing a bit more frequently at times.

I've found that there is no particular way to predict nicotine poisoning...it happens with any ceegar any time...I love the Southern Draw Firethorn, and even one of them has bitten me! Just one of them thangs, I reckon...

I'm the same way. A Quesada tributo, that I enjoy on the deck will nearly always kick me if I smoke it out walking the dog. I find I have to really be mindful of my puffing rate and I also find them a little tight on the draw so I tend to draw harder and more frequent causing them to kick.

Hi-nic cigars tend to stimulate my lower digestive tract. Therefore I would never take a stroll with a strong cigar unless I was wearing Depends

Rhymes with "seed"
This is why I have a stopwatch running when I smoke a cigar, to prevent over eager puffing

Well....that would explain what happened to me on Saturday with my La Gloria. I was turning a travel mug on the lathe and wasn't paying attention to how fast/often I was puffing. Will definitely have to reevaluate lathe-cigar combo time.

I cut back on my smoking some and have been getting tired of my old favorites due to the strength and switched to mediums. I revisited my older collection that have been sitting a couple years and they aren't as strong as they once were. The flavor is still good but the nic doesn't hit me as hard. Might want to age/rest some and see. Also might be your walking pace, I think I feel the nic more if I walk faster. I enjoy an easy stroll too while smoking but keep it at a slow pace.
