You can do it, Chris. Cold turkey will be rough, but there are some things that can help. I went the smokeless route on my journey when I stopped smoking:

    1. Shitty Skul snus (avoid). To:

    2. Longcut - the taste does take some time to acquire, though I ended up loving having a wad in, but I knew it wasn't a longterm option. Though a fresh tin is a must for me on road trips - it gets me in the zone when paired with some heavy music. To:

    3. Good snus - General Snus is very good, and "healthier", though the transition from longcut to this was like good and strong coffee to weak and translucent coffee. If I'd only knew one 'coffee', it'd probably work better for me, but I knew this wasn't something I could hang with.

    4. Nicotine pouches - This is where I currently am, and through my hands-on research of all the pouch crazes hitting the local convience stores - On! Cinnamon 4 mg is my go-to. It kicks any cravings, but it is just as addictive.

Not sure if any of it will interest you, especially the longcut dip/spit, but figured I'd share to let you know about the smokeless options I've experienced.

Appreciate the help, I ordered about 60 mixed small sticks last night, to start. I gave up chew a few years back, but would have tried if not. If I can get off methadone for pain after 15+ years, I can do this with His help.

    Thanks again everyone!

I haven’t smoked them in a long time, but I always really enjoyed the Surrogate Cracker Crumbs for small (4.5x38) short smokes. I think they are rolled at My Father.
Enjoy and care for your parents, once they are gone you become an orphan!

    Thanks Steve,
I didn’t even think about those, but they are going on the list.

Ok, still getting some small dry cured, but I figured my best chance to get this going was some things I’m pretty sure I’ll like. The CAOs I’ve only had one off, but they were on sale, the T52 I love, as i do most Serie V Oliva. Granted I’ve never had these, only the standard vitolas of them. I’m starting either tomorrow or Monday. Should be interesting…
