I've yet to try one.
I usually find his reviews spot on. I don't get all the flavors that he mentions, but generally agree with his overall rating/opinion.

Doesn't surprise me. I haven't had that particular Diamond Crown, but I've smoked the Maximus and Julius Caesar and they're top tier. It's hard for me to justify cigars that expensive, because there are so many great cigars for half the price, but they're damn good.

I had the one from the 2016 Toast Across America pack - it's a 7 5/8 by 54 whopper. I liked it alot, despite being out of my normal size and ring sizes. Couldn't tell you about the intricate flavors or anything but I'd smoke it again or other sizes if they were't so pricey.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !
