I too smoke for the taste and relaxation of it. A PC like the Mille Fluers took me about 45 minutes. Most vitolas of any size always last right around 1 hour, give or take 15 minutes. Doesn't matter if its a PC or double Corona, always lasts about the same time for me.
I'm willing to be a little chilly to enjoy a smoke. I know how to dress for cold weather and have the right clothes to do it, so until it gets below zero I'm pretty warm still as long as I made sure to check the temperature and dress accordingly.
Sometimes I forget and end up freezing though, but still a good cigar is worth it.

I was dedicated enough to build a smoking room like the legendary

I only smoke 2-3 cigars a month on average and I smoke in the house. Usually in my music/old man room. But if I was restricted to outdoor smoking, 30f is about as bad as I am willing to suffer. A pop up blind set up out of the wind with a chair and a Mr Heater would work in a pinch. Works great when deer hunting, even in miserable weather.

Golf Course Bum
I don't know how you outside guys do it. into the 40's and I'm not enjoying it, although I have no outside setup or heaters or anything.
I prefer to be outside smoking, on the golf course ! But I just can't sit out by myself in cold weather and have a cigar and enjoy it.
Luckily, I have a very understanding wife and was able to convert my office / man cave into a smoking room.
As long as I'm contained to one room and don't stink up the house it's all good. And it allows me to smoke daily...
So I guess I'm not very dedicated when it comes to the cold, but I was dedicated enough to solve that problem !
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Full-on Scraggly Bum
In my younger days I didn't care, above 32 and I was bundled up outside on the porch. Slowly that went from 32 to 45, to now 50 lol. However since I can't smoke in the house I invested in one of those outdoor propane tower heaters, game changer. It's been below freezing and I can have a nice sized cigar in peace while staying warm.

Mr. Noice
Plenty of cold weather here in the North East Penciltucky, so the garage with two heaters works or the enclosed back porch that's insulated with heat is my go to. Just crack the windows dear!! Okay honey, beer me please!!
Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.
