You shouldn't have to let it rest for too long - unlike a lot of manufacturers, you won't ever get a "young" Davidoff, as they let them rest in a humidified room for at least 6 months (if not longer) before they ship them to vendors. Just let it rest long enough to acclimate to your humidor's humidity and then have at it!
