I don't smoke them on the regular but I do enjoy a Special R Churchill on occasion. The Nicaragua line has been good as well. I tend to smoke things Davidoff makes more so then their direct branded cigars. The Avo lines are very enjoyable and for the price the Griffins hit that mild Davidoff taste with a better price point.

Haven't had a Special R yet, but do have a Nicaragua Box Pressed Robusto on hand.
Haven't tried an Avo yet, but they are on my list. Didn't even realize that they were connected with Davidoff.
Also have a Griffins Classic Robusto I was given I look forward to trying next month

Zino Classic No.1 Tubos
My first of these
Sadly, quite bland and generic. Fortunately, they were cheap, especially by Davidoff/Zino standards.
It did pick up a fair bit in the last third, but still just generic tobacco taste.
Perfect draw, burn and construction though.
Definitely wont be buying more unless the other one I have tastes radically better, which is unlikely.
Oh well, they can't all be winners

Not a Davidoff fan. Bang for the buck is not there, in my opinion. Granted, I've only smoked probably less than a handful of their offerings, but all have been major let-downs. The only one I am interested in is The Late Hour you mentioned.

The Zino Platinum Scepter Series is very good in my opinion as is the Zino Platinum z-class 550R

They certainly aren't for everyone, and I completely agree that some are way overpriced and I wouldn't pay for those when I could get a good Cuban for less.
The ones I smoke are much less, and to me are worth the price. Currently only 2 have made the cut, both the Zinos I mentioned in the post above this.
