Tru Dat! And draw slow. The black banded Obsidian (only one I've tried - the white banded one looks too much like a tampon/applicator to me) seems to overheat and taste resinous if you draw hard. However, with a nice slow draw it reminds me of smoking Bob's Chocolate Flake (minus the Lakeland soap)

Yep, I like the Obsidian and IMO they're a steal for the price. I don't know what they're like fresh since I don't smoke very often so most of my stash has been sitting around for quite a while before I get to it.
