The Headley probably has less spice though the JD Howard isn't too peppery either. The smaller RGs are heavy on leather and cedar IMO

Killer Cole, thanks man! I bought the 44rg Headley Grange I thought it would be closer to the famed "Drumstick" in flavor as its the closest to the RG. I'll let ya know what I think of them.

I can't figure out the JD Howard. The first one I smoked was incredibility salty. It was like putting a circa 1970's salt encrusted Slim Jim in my mouth. Basically rock salt with smoke to boot. The second one had more of a pepper/spice and cedar/wood taste that was better. I have no idea how a cigar could be so salty tasting, but it was like the difference between a salt and pepper shaker?...
