Funny you should mention that, Mr. Lutz. Made a trade this week for a Bamboo Egg and some paraphernalia. Have no clue what I'm doing but I'm having fun doing it. I will be leaning on you pipers until I get my sea legs.

Absolutely. Come on over.
I was a cigar only smoker for a couple of years before trying a pipe. During this cold weather, I've been smoking a pipe more often. When it gets warmer, I'll probably be about 50/50. Pipes are a great part of the hobby.
If you're other half gives you hell about it you can always tell her that a bowl of good pipe baccy is a lot cheaper than a good cigar.
Check out my Youtube channel, Razorback Piper Guy if you like that sort of thing.

The break in period on this one has been a bitch. 23 years and she's still got some bite.

Not exactly what I expected when I clicked on the thread
But yes, I'll second the motion to dip your toe into the pipe world. It's not pricy to get started, and I bet it'll grow on you! I enjoy the art and ritual immensely, even though I'm far from an expert.

Nice start! The pipe is very attractive, the blends are tasty, and that black Zippo pipe lighter was the very first one I bought 15 years ago with my first pipe. (I have 3 now- they work great)

Next time you're in Nashville I'll let you pop my cherry . I know zero about pipes but wouldn't mind learning.
Love the C.S. Lewis quote btw.
