Nausea Medicine
It seems I have read of people keeping candy or chocolates on hand if/when they smoke a cigar that was a bit too stout.
Today I had a cigar that is just perfect for me (medium) but I happened to inhale a part of it. It didn't quite make me nauseous but it did make me feel a bit unpleasant. I happened to have a few hop (Cascade flavor) candies (terrific candy BTW!) and popped one into my mouth. It did seem to take the edge off a bit.
While at the grocery store picking up a few things we had forgotten I grabbed a bag of butter scotch candies.

I don't usually eat anything while I smoke, but I haven't had a problem with nausea. As a cigarette smoker I'm probably used to the nicortine. I have, however, accidently inhaled cigar smoke. Had a laryngospasm I thought was gonna kill me. Took almost a minute to pass.

I usually have a cigar with a soft drink of some kind.
I've had good luck pairing pipe tobaccos with beer but with a cigar it never quite clicks for me.
Coke, with or without rum, or root beer is good.

Never had any candy, dark chocolate sometimes before, but I do enjoy darker stouts when smoking.

Don't think I have ever gotten nauseous from a cigar but I did get a nasty case of the hiccups a few times

Might be more to do with smoking on an empty stomach, not sure though, never remember having that exact problem. Although on a hot day things tend to get to me more

I tend to eat whatever when smoking. Grinders, pizza, salads it all depends what I'm hungry for at the moment. Haven't been nauseous ever smoking probably due to the fact I'm an on again off again cigarette smoker. So I'm no help to ya their. As
@Cigarer
said try having something to eat before enjoying a cigar would IMO probably help.

I was once told that anything with anise would help with cigar breath. So from time to time I have some black licorice laying around (partially because I love it). It can pull double duty, a little sugar if I've smoked a few too many or something caught me off guard and to help with the breath. It doesn't clear it up totally but my wife says it sure helps!

Not a fan of black licorice. But now I'm wondering how that cigar would pair with ouzo or sambuca...;-)

Might be good. I would think you would want a rather full cigar to stand up to it though. I always have it after I've finished smoking.
