No cigars for few weeks
Finally had to get my droopy eyelids and the corners took care of . Had been a slowly getting worse and worse for quite awhile . Eyes swelled up almost shut and looks like wife took a ball bat after me . But now got to look forward to the fact the doctor said need to not be smoking even cigars for a few weeks till it heals up . Anyone else ever get on restrictions ? Goods news is maybe a few cigars I am out of will come in on back order !!!!

I hope your surgery is 100% successful. I think it’s SOP to stop smoking after surgery. Apparently tobacco use slows healing. Is that true? I have no idea. It may be just like the 6’ rule during Covid, they just made that up because we let them.

Tobacco is commonly credited with slowing healing. I've had oral surgery, carpal tunnel surgery, and throat surgery, and each time they told me to lay off cigars for a few weeks.

Hope it all goes well for ya. Laying off for a little bit won't be the worse thing in the world if it helps the process along more quickly
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Correct it's not the worst thing to have to do . Really morning of my surgery what missed more was my cup of coffee ! And I drink decaf most of time ! If it helps to speed up or just healing better I can can be without for few weeks . My eyes are open little more on bottom but the swelling is way worse but doctor said that would be normal . Ice packs are best friend right now .
