In the baseball world of cigar smoking celebrities is Jack McKeon. There are many articles online about him smoking upwards of 8 to 9 or more cigars per day.

I suppose Jack could slip in here backwards, since the games are on TV, LOL.

He was very special, one of my favorite actors ever.

I can't say for sure if he was on the radio version, but he was not on the original episodes of dragnet that ran from 1951-1959, except for one episode in 1954. His character, Bill Gannon didn't become a main character until the episodes that ran from 1967-1970.
