Of course I mean A Crystal Ball.
Perhaps a matched set?

Hi everyone,
This morning a box of goodness from Famous was delivered. Again a big thank you to everyone that helped with suggestions, I have them written down and will get some of those I wasn't able to get this time, on another order.
Quick Question,
Both the 858's and the Partagas 1845 came with a thin strip of what I am assuming is Spanish cedar. Most of the guys I talked to before coming to CigarBum (as well as other written and video sources), suggested putting these strips and or pieces of cigar boxes into my tupperdor. I went with the 65% boveda pack as you folks suggested and just wanted to double check about the wood going in with everything.
At least I assume it's Spanish Cedar, I am not much into woodworking so not sure how to tell. Do I need to do anything to them before putting them into the tupperdor (wipe down with distilled water, etc...?)
Thanks!

If it came inside the box then yes it's a thin piece of spanish cedar! I wouldn't worry about sticking in the bottom of your tupper. That's exactly what I've always done. You don't need to wipe it at all, it's very thin and will help buffer your RH without causing any problems.

Yeah, just chuck them in there. You don't need to do anything to them, they may not help a ton but everything helps. Looking forward to seeing what you think about them.

One last question if you folks don't mind? I believe the answer is that it is fine to do so, but better safe than sorry.
Is it OK to put a small label on each cigar (on the cellophane, not on the leaf)? Basically just the date I received it, name, wrapper, etc... Some have it on the band, but some don't. I wouldn't think it would hurt anything, but I don't want to do it and there be something in the adhesive that can cause issues down the line. Yes I realize this is borderline OCD, but what can I say, My dad was a WWII & Korean War Vet (on a sub for nearly 22years in all) and he taught me from a VERY young age to have your stuff in order, no matter what it is, or don't have it at all.
So, yay or nay on labels?
BTW-Going to give one of the new ones a try today (just having a hard time choosing which one first), it's finally warmer out and I can enjoy one without freezing to death.

Ask any questions any time! A sticker on the cello is absolutely fine.
