I've only tried a few times and I have only found one which I enjoy.

Zolo malbec with an LP #9!

Another good bet is a full bodied spicy cigar with Montresor Valpolicella

If you like Malbecs check out Tikal Amorio Malbec which is my favorite one out there right now. Its got the heft of a big cab, but with much softer tannins. They also make a malbec blend at a lower price point which is quite good.

I'll make a note on the Montresor Valpolicella for pairing, I like ripaso.

I have had bad luck with malbec recommendations in the past, so maybe my taste is different.
An employee swore by Flichman Tupungato and wasn't impressed at all, but I might try some Tikal Amorio. I appreciate the suggestion.

All I know is Zolo never disappoints me. It's bold, rustic, earthy, and falls somewhere between plum and blackberry with some spice.
