Great info! I'm partial to Connecticut Broadleaf maduro and Brasilian Arapiraca. The Torano 1959 Exodus 50 years and Diesel Unholy Cocktail are very inspired Maduros!

Thanks Craig! Of course Connecticut is the reigning king of the broadleafs, but I have been enjoying a lot of PA Broadleafs as well these days. And yes, A.J. knows his way around maduros for sure, great stuff.

Yes, the 50 Years is great, and the article mentioned the CAO Brazilia which I also like but isn't as good as the 50 Years IMO.

Come to think of it, I've enjoyed all the Brazilian Arapiraca wrapped cigars I've had, which I think is 3 including the two above plus a couple RoMa Craft Intemperance.

Never knew the VR used this leaf! I haven't smoked one in a year or two but I remember enjoying it pretty well. I know I've got a one or two of these left that are probably 2-3 years old now, I'll have to bust one out and smoke it soon. If you put it up with the Brazilia I bet I'll like it.

If you're a maduro fan and haven't tried best cigar price's Alec Bradley Star Insignia you're missing out. It's one of may favorite maduro sticks ever.

And no I don't work for them.

Bought a few of the 5.5x55's from sullen. Quite yellow in the cello, and screaming my name lol
