Interesting Cigar Names?
I find it a little interesting that some of the names such as dirty rat or many of the diesel lines have grotesque names. Wouldn't you want your cigar sound tasty? I guess they know their client base.
Not saying i wouldn't smoke a FFP or a Dirty Rat if handed to me but from a non-smokers point of view it may be weird.
Any Thoughts?

Waiting on Octember 1st
Some of my favorites were the limited edition Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears releases last year: One Night Stand and Backdoor Bambi were amusing. (good cigars too). IMO it is all just marketing fun. Something gimmicky to make your product stand out. I'm 100% cool with it as long as it isn't trying to make up for an inferior offering.

Wow, Someone Knows Me
Sadly (from my conservative mindset)...it's pure genius, if you ask me! These companies know what sells (including the names) and if their product is good, the name just pulls in that many more to their product. Heck, one of my favorite cigars is the Diesel Unholy Cocktail...love it!

Bummin' Around
They're not gross names, but each Crowned Heads cigar has a story behind the name which I think is really cool and original. Like Jericho Hill is named after Johnny Cash's "Cocaine Blues" - the sheriff that catches him "In walked a sheriff from Jericho Hill". Even the vitolas are named like Willy Lee is the fugitive in the song, .44S is the caliber of the gun.
I appreciate the originality, it's much more interesting than Robusto, Toro, Corona.

Thats how I see it. The craft beer scene is the same way. Theres a ton of breweries and beers with whacky names. Gotta stand out in the crowd somehow and a little shock value usually helps.

Happiness? A good cigar, a good meal, a good cigar and a good woman - or a bad woman; it depends on how much happiness you can handle- George Burns
