Well Kayla you answered that question for me.
My brother is presently incarcerated for some problems with hitting the bottle too hard after a nasty divorce and I send him some cigars every now and then.
They don't have alot of time to smoke so he tells me he breaks them up and the re-rolls them, basically like joints, so they can have a quick smoke.
He's never smoked cigarettes or cigars but I guess with time on your hands... and he doesn't like the rolling cig tobacco and so I've sent him stogies and he's also tried some pipe tobacco but cigars seem to be the best for these re-rolls (as he calls them).
So one day I tell him I sent him some smokes and he says he doesn't want to take my good cigars - "what do those companies do with the broken cigars they get in" ?
Now I have the answer - they reside in Kayla's humidor !
So to answer your original question - I'd send them to my bro. I haven't had many broken yet, but I have enough other sticks I've tried and not loved so I always have stuff to send to him.
Why'd you have to mention those At Ease you sneaky devil - you know that we are all going to go check those out now.........
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Well you can't they are in the process of being re-blended (the place we bought them from went under so the blend disappeared). Sorry!
But that is a great idea for what to do with my broken sticks!

Yes - the new Cheap Humidors Prison Pack LOL.
I've never heard of anyone else doing that but then again he has some really interesting stories. Those guys are pretty creative.

I bet they are, with that much time on their hands, what else are they going to do?

Have you tried some cigar glue to pull back some of them from the grave? I recently bought some and it works really well. I'm sure you could even glue patch leafs over tears/cracks.

I use fruit pectin for the ones that look fixable.

Oh man! That dog's cuteness factor better outweigh its destruction factor!

I'm not a Scientologist, I just build Xenu's spacecraft.

Well, I am an "expert" (not really)on the topic (my life long dream was to be a herpetologist and therefor I spend a lot of time reading journal articles on alligators) and mamma alligators are exceptionally gentle with their babies. In fact, alligators spend the first 2 years of their lives under their mom's protection. When they hatch, she comes and digs them out of their nest and gently carries them to the water with a level of grace and dexterity that is shocking given their immense size and power.
