Haha! I'm guessing if the stems look chewed they're estate pipes. Need to restore them up and sell them along side your new house blend.

Or sell them as is along with your broken sticks. Ding and dent center!

Hahaha yes I do on occasion. Considering any new line we bring on in-house has to get my thumbs up, I smoke a lot of "free" cigars. In fact, when we were first trying to launch our house brand military cigars (At Ease) I went through probably 100 different blends to find one I liked enough to put our name on them.

Nope, turns out the shipping box rubbed against the stems and scuffed them all up

Just curious - do you rotate your sticks out of your set if you acquire a second one? So if you have a vitola that is in it's prime (say two years old), and you acquire a second one - which one do you smoke?

Normally, I don't complain about smoking free cigars, HOWEVER, some of those unbanded sticks were absolutely painful. You'd be surprised how terrible unbanded sticks can be, the quality control of SOME of these just go out the window since the company that makes them aren't putting their names on them
