Cigar Brands Graveyard
Whether on account of the new tobacco legislation or for other reasons, I am finding some of my favorite brands disappearing from the market. 1. Nirvana by Drew Estate 2. Bahia Matanzas, and 3. Warlock are a few I enjoyed keeping around but alas are no more. Got a brand to add or know of any on their way out? Let us know.

Great topic! The whole FDA rule and this "Nanny State" of ours is a very sore subject, but that's a whole other topic. I really haven't noticed any of the boutiques, I generally smoke, disappear. I talk to a few of the Rep's when I'm at the lounge or at an event and their comments are generally "full steam ahead with production and introduction of new blends, vitola, etc.

I used to really enjoy the Warlock, always a go to when they had them at the local B&M

I don't know if that's a good thing! Because to Tom's point, although I like to try new blends, there are some "go to" smokes that you just always want to be able to find.

Yes, 'cause after all, the whole point of trying new sticks is so you can continue to buy more of the ones you really like.

Thanks for the info, Ciro. It's going to be interesting to watch.

I thought you just liked to buy new blends
I don't think it had anything to with FDA rules, but I was sad to see Tatuaje discontinue the La Cassita Criolla and the LA Requeza
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

LOL!
I do, I do!!
But everybody, even me, has a few "go to" smokes!
Thank goodness all of the DPG's are regular production smokes that don't appear to be going anywhere!

Forgot to mention, in January it was reported that Matt Booth of Room 101 is also departing the cigar industry, at least for now. I for one will miss the Namakubi papi chulos as they made for a great short smoke.

WOW!
Matt Booth is leaving the industry?!
If I'm not mistaken, the last blend was a collaboration with AJ & Warped. Other than that nothing since the Big Payback.
Hope the Namakubi's & Darumas will still be around?!
