Cigar Authority Care Package info
There have been posts on some of the cigar of the month clubs the various online sites offer and whether they are worth it or not so I thought I'd throw this up for you Bums to look at.
I listen to the Cigar Authority podcast to help the workday pass a little faster. This podcast is done by the folks at Two Guys Smoke Shop - including our own
@barry2guys
and they recently started a program called the Cigar Authority Care Package. For $19.99 a month they ship 4 cigars that they plan on featuring on the show in the upcoming month - so that listeners can try the same cigars they are smoking on air. The $19.99 is shipped and they ship SFR.
I just got this month's shipment:
Davidoff Escurio
2 Guys 25th Anniversary - their exclusive from 25th Anni 5 years ago
Trademark (formerly known as Icon) by Hammer and Sickle
Fratello Bianco
Last month's shipment was:
Camacho American Barrel Aged Robusto
Diamond Crown Julius Caeser 1895 Perfecto - DC lounge exclusive
Sea Knight Toro - exclusive for Davidus cigar stores honoring owner's military service
Topper Breva - from old CT area cigar maker
So far it looks great to me and I've been happy I signed up. Get to try some new smokes and so far a great value.
Talked with one of the guys at the shop and asked if I could add some singles to ship (free) with the monthly SFR since there are currently only 4 in the box (we all know will hold 10 lol) and "that's not a problem".
Just wanted to give a little info / review on this new program in case anyone else had heard about it or wants to give it a try.

Considering that the Davidoff tubo goes for $60 in a 4-pack on CI, that looks like a helluva deal.

The Fratello is a little big at 56 but no 60's in the bunch. And if there was I know where you live

The most interesting thing to me is that you can (I assume) smoke along with them and hear them describe the stick as you're experiencing it.
It's not a real hobby unless it interferes with your work.

Lonely Wandering Bum
I think a lot of people will be surprised when we announce who made the 25th Anniversary stick and when we put the remaining inventory on sale we expect them to sell out.
