What’s the best cheap cigar you’ve smoked?
I see a lot of very awesome cigars go up in the “what did you smoke today” thread, some fairly pricey ones too and while I love a $15-$20 smoke as much as the next guy or gal, I’m looking for some good daily options, something I can buy by the bundle and don’t feel funny tossing if time doesn’t permit. I see cheapies all over the place but I’m curious if any of you have tried them and what you’re thought are. I see house brands a lot, cast offs, seconds, Cuban sandwiches, short filler cigars, and I’m curious if you come across any that have exceeded your expectations.

For me winner goes to General Grant. I tell people it tastes like a strong sun tea. Next up for me is the Black Ops bundles and the the berserker. Pick your leaf all of them are pretty solid. The Black Ops Rubicon is not good. While not a budget cigar by MSRP the Ave Maria can usually be found at close to budget prices and is by a long shot my most smoked cigar.

I've found a couple of cheap dandies in the JR Alternative lines, especially the Edicion Limitada alternatives. Favorite for me is the E.L. alternative to Cohiba Sublime. Is it a Cohiba from south of Miami? Lord, no. But, at 2.50 each in a bundle, it's a full bodied, flavorful treat, and it's long filler all the way

The Guido Squad
Hands down Chillin' Moose; great profile and never had an issue with construction or burn. Here locally they sell for $4 a piece.

For something like this I was hoping for bundles of 20-25 for anywhere between $25 and $40 bucks. I see Bahia in this price range, I see a lot of major label seconds or fumas around this price point too.
