Can we send you a lousy inferior in-house product instead?" I also remember the cbid-rage posts every couple of months back on Puff. This wasn't meant to be that 'cause I don't care enough, but it was a little annoying - the postage quibbling more than the out of stock issue.

EDIT: I should add that nowhere else are you likely to get 5-ers of Villiger Colorado and Cusano 18 maduro, a Leccia Black single, a Sosa Classic single, and a tin of CAO tobacco for $17 total, so I should shut up....
I had Nice Ash/Cigars at your Price tell me they ran out of stock twice after I ordered. The first time they offered to replace it with a comparable cigar, the second time I just had to wait.
We're going to need a bigger humidor

    Ya done well.
I really liked Villiger's La Libertad and the Colorado gets good reviews, and any Kelner blend I've had so far has done me right.

Wouldn't have minded waiting, but I do mind 5 Vegas Gold.

I have spent many $1000's on cbid over the years and have never had any issues. Any minor problems I experienced their customer service corrected immediately. The only thing I can ever think of that was out of stock was a Opus x that I had won. And I was actually happy because at the time I thought I was crazy for spending $25 on a single cigar. So I gladly took the refund.

Hey if the Eileen's Dream sucks, pass it on to a newbie. Taste is subjective. What you think sucks may be someone else's cup of tea.

As far as C-Bid, I haven't had any trouble myself other than sticks coming wet, but that is to be expected when ordering online. I haven't had any dry ones. That's strange.

My only complaint with them is the super slow shipping. It seems like every time I order its a week and a half or two weeks before I get it. It is the same way on Cigarmonster but their shipping is free so I don't complain. The devil site is not free, so I expect it in a reasonable amount of time. Doesn't happen though.
Once it was long enough that I complained. I believe it was ten days after my order and I emailed them. They refunded half my shipping cost which was more than they had to do I suppose. Now I just know that when I order from them, it's going to take a while. Oh well. I never buy really good sticks from them anyway. I usually just stock up on golf course/campfire sticks from them.

Absolutely. Newbs are my preferred method of recycling.

One thing I've learned about pipe tobacco is that even hideous sounding blends can turn out to be good. You never know until you try.

My husband smoked the Eileen's Dream cigars and loves them. Hopefully the pipe tobacco is just as good

Funny, I haven't tried an infused cigar I liked (including a bunch of Drew Estates) but really enjoy a few strongly aromatic pipe tobaccos. So it's possible I'll like it!

I personally have had bad luck with cbid over the last couple years and I was not pleased with their customer service. I had better luck with cigar auctioneer overall but when I had issues I still did not get the customer service I wanted. I stay away from all the auctions these days as I get much better service from the regular online vendors and if I'm patient just as good of deals. The plus is the customer service is usually top notch especially when I have an issue. I find I am willing to pay more just for the security of knowing the retailer is backing up my purchase to my expectations. I also find myself trying to buy from a retailer that bent over backwards from me just to show my appreciation. Too many retailers miss this point these days.
