Where do you buy your cigars from?
So, just out of pure curiosity, and after 2 big scorers from CBid last evening for the first time in forever, where do you buy your cigars?
ie:
online vendors
Local shop
Auction site(s)
Etc
Also, do you just buy as you see a deal, buy enough to last a period of time, or are low on staples, etc?
Until last evening with CBid since an online vendors cc processor kept denying my card, so I had some leftover money for a change, I exclusively shop from online vendors, particularly only ones with a Veteran's discount.
They are cheaper and easier than other options, but I may start holding back a little money each month to try and get a good price on CBid.
This is last night's score:
Nica Libre 25th Anniversary Torpedo - 5 Cigars. $14
Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project Intro Sampler - 6 Cigars. $14
2 - Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project Robusto (5" x 50)
2 - Ramon Bueso Olancho Vintage Robusto (5" x 50)
2 - Ramon Bueso Genesis Habano Robusto (5" x 50)
I friggin love cigars

I buy from Small Batch Cigar and from Smoke Inn when I have money to spend on cigars. Both are reputable dealers with great service and the cigars I like. Been years since I used the devils site

Had to respond because I just pulled out a Nica silver to smoke this morning.
Those are all great value cigars that are actually good to smoke. If you can age those Ramon Bueso, they really shine (by all means, smoke one now).
I mostly buy online from out of state vendors - especially large purchases or boxes. But I still buy singles/fivers at the local B&Ms for support.

When I used to buy cigars I almost exclusively bought from my local shop with the occasional purchase from Smallbatchcigars. I have bought very few the last 2 years.

All of the above - online shops, my most local shop, auction, and from the third party market. I haven't been on Cbid in years I use Famous' Cigar Auctioneer.
I buy to take advantage of deals, grab new releases and replenish core inventory that's gotten low. Oh and of course for the occasional bomb or Secret Santa package
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Since I can’t drive, B&Ms are not in the cards for me.
My go to online vendors, in no particular order are:
Famous
Atlantic
Fox
Small Batch
Holts
I usually get restocks, or a fiver of something new. However I’m always looking for deals on things I want to try or stock up on to age. SmallBatch has a point system and if you time it right can get a ton of sticks for a decent price. The devil site, nope!!!

I do mostly online. I typically go where the sales are for the cigars I'm eyeing. Lately: Nice Ash Cigars, Mardo, Black Lion Luxuries, House Blends Direct, Privada and Cigarpage.
I'm kinda over Cigarbid after they implemented the excise tax.
