I'd say let one rest for a bit. These have always hit the mark for me. I tried one of the LE lanceros and didn't like it at all. Got another one and let it rest. What a difference it was. If they are wet it makes a huge difference in flavor profile everything. But with that being said it may not be in your wheel house

I'll pick a couple up next week to let them chill and try again. I smoked it as soon as I got home from the B&M because I was excited to give it a go.

I found these underwhelming as well. I had two well rested ones. They were good, just not great to me.

Wow, a lot of guys aren't impressed with Padron. Maybe I like them so much because I took baby steps starting with the X000 series and already had an idea of what to expect. The Melanio is still a good stick and at the price I got the box for I couldn't even begin to complain about it. I still keep them around and smoke one occasionally but I tend to give them away more than I smoke them.

About 5 years ago I had a Cohiba Behike, Siglio IV, and a Padron 1926. (All in the same week)

My favorite of the 3... The Padron 1926.

If Bum decides to ban me for this confession, I'll completely understand.

Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

Opus X. It was good but it wasn't $27 good. It was $10-12 good.
