Sometimes the smell is offensive to SWMBO and she has claimed, at times, that it has even upset her asthma so I'll often shower and brush my teeth. Hardly something you could do though.
Maybe a light jacket and wash your hands? Seems I've seen some sort of smoke neutralizing spray way back when I was a cigarette smoker.

Crest Pro Health Mouthwash does an OK job, so does eating licorice. There's another mouthwash I have seen people recommend, but I can't recall it's name. IIRC there was a guy who was on Poof that made cigar soap (not from cigars but to help eliminate the odor) I don't recall who it was or how well it worked. Maybe someone else can remember.

I hadn't heard the licorice trick, that's cool.
Citrus seems to help. Something as simple as just a lime or lemon squeezed into some water or club soda, swish it around in your mouth, and that kind of knocks out the stink.

Brushing your teeth and a good tongue scraper goes a long way to solving the problem.

I carry a Listerine Cool Mist sprayer in my pocket. 2-3 quick spritz's, back in the pocket and no one has ever mentioned the smell of cigar stank. I buy the 2 Pac and each is about the size of a BIC.
If it your clothes that carry the smell you could probably fill a small spray bottle with Scent Killer that hunters use to kill human scent when hunting. I think some neutralize smoke odor.

Must be something about licorice like compounds. I have heard and tried chewing on some fennel or anise seeds that both taste like licorice, with sometimes satisfactory results. Brushing your teeth, mouthwash, and gum can help, but seems to still linger. I have also used hydrogen peroxide swished around and spit. Watch out, it foams up, so use sparingly.

Be careful that you don't bleach your mustache though.
