I was a Navy guy, but I was very close to being a Marine. The Marine recruiter was my first stop on my journey towards become part of the US Military. I was instantly sold on their "The Few, The Proud,...The Marines" line and commercials. I think I made the correct decision, for me, to go Navy, but I will say the biggest regret of my life was not choosing to go with my desire to be a Naval FMF Corpsman (pretty much the medics assigned to Marine battle groups), where they are Sailors, but are also Marines. If I could do it all over again, that would've been the Miliary journey I took, I believe. Thank you for this Marine Corps cigar, Kayla.

A while back she sent me 2 of the Marines and the last remaining Navy that I have as a display price with my other little navy items.

Smoked one Marines, which was excellent, and gave one to an old Vietnam Veteran Marine that smokes cigarillos often. He reacted as if he had just gotten a bar of gold. His too is on display in his room and when his sons visited, he showed it to them, then saw me in the smoke room and specifically pointed me out as the one that gave it to him.

She definitely made a hero happy.
