Totally agree. Every time I smoke a Unico, I think, wow! This is a great cigar. So many flavors. But guess what? I do the same thing when I smoke an Undercrown for half the price.
The law of diminishing returns comes into play with cigars. The difference between a $2 cigar and a $12 can* be huge, with far more complexity and flavor. But the difference between a $12 cigar and a $20+ cigar? IMO, not a damn thing other than marketing and scarcity.
*I say CAN BE because sometimes a $2-3 cigar (such as a RB Project) kicks ass compared to some BS Dominican Cohiba or some other gimmicky $10 stick.
