2 buck Chuck - Golf Edition

I like to keep cigars in an office humidor for the express purpose of golf, since my office is right on my local golf course and I can step in and grab some quickly as needed. I don't like to spend a ton on golf cigars as they are usually abused, neglected, and often handed out to people who don't truly appreciate a fine cigar.

At the same time I like something that I will enjoy.

Currently in my stable of golf cigars:

    Full: La Perla Habana Morado
    Medium: Nica Libre
    Mild: ...

And I am really happy with the Morado's and Libre's as a $2-$2.5 cigar, what I am lacking is something for the mild cigar smokers. I don't favor mild cigars and Connecticut wrappers in general, but would like advice on something in the same range to hand out to those who like them.

    Ideas?

I find Schizo to be pretty mild and fit the bill nicely at under $2 a stick.

Gran Habano Vintage 2002 is a good medium to full cigar that can be had from CBID for about $1.50 a stick.

As for mild, I personally don't smoke many mild cigars at all but my father in law likes the RP Connecticuts. Usually pretty cheap on CBID IIRC, I haven't bought any for him in a while.

It' all about them Sancho Panza's baby.

Double Maduros aren't really mild, but they are oh so tasty and cheap!

Panza's and N Libre's are my fave golf cigars.

Here's a few suggestions that are of different shapes and sizes and showing the price I've been seeing them at:

Mild-Med Casa de Garcia Corona Connecticut $1.10
    Mild-Med Gurkha Elegance Churchill $2.50
Mild-Med Perdomo Tierra del Sol Torpedo $1.80
Mild-Med Thompson Honduran Finas Churchill $1.90
Mild-Med Toraño Dominican Selection Toro $2.00
Mild-Med Toraño Vega Dominican Torpedo $2.00

All-in-all, I'd look at a Thompson's catalog and go with a house brand that fits the bill. I'd then take off the Thompson bands and create my own to replace - and make it a bit special in the process. Kinda' like your own business card...

I enjoy the Varina Farms Breakfast Blend. They can be purchased for pretty cheap on cbid. Tasty CT wrapper.
