Mine was delivered yesterday, made the change today and using soft flame is good.
I have three zippos with the Thunderbird pipe insert.
I love it.
I know this is from yesteryear, but I am curious how these inserts are holding up? I am thinking about getting a couple and search brought me here.
and what about that sweet duck salt & pepper holder??
I don't have this particular brand but I've had mine for like 2 years with no problems

Thanks guys. I think I will get a couple. I have a couple of NOS Zippos from the mid 90's packed away still in their boxes somewhere. I need to see if I can find them.
