Thoughts on the Xikar EX
My torch I got from my first starter humi kit is toast. Been using matches but time for a new lighter. I'm thinking about getting the Xikar EX natural flame. Anyone have any experience with this one? Appreciate your thoughts on it!

I have had a few of these and I love them, with a disclaimer: It SUCKS outside with the slightest bit of wind. Indoors it's a great lighter, just don't take it outside and you'll be golden.

I love it! I use a torch lighter if there's wind outside, but always use EX otherwise. I treat lighting my cigar like a ritual and this lighter is indispensable!

Mine has been extraordinarily dependable since I got it 6 years ago.
"I don't like making plans for the day because then the word
"premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom." "If at first you don't succeed, skydiving may not be for you..."

I haven't tried the the EX yet, I have been a loyal Xikar user for more than 10 years and have yet to find a bad product, or one they won't warranty. My cutter is on its 4th life and my oldest lighter has been back twice for repair and clean up in 10 years.
There is an art to bombing. My aim is to perfect that art.

Just wanted to say Xikar warranty is the best! I sent out my lighter for coil repair (2nd time sending it out) and they sent it back fully functional. They truly stand by their product!

I have grown to not like Xikar products, everything I have had from them has broken on me. Sure they have a lifetime guarantee but it becomes a PITA to keep getting things replaced. The reason the guarantee is there is because the product is destined to fail you sooner rather than later.

The only lighting method that hasn't crapped out on me is a Zippo.

All butane lighters fail over use. I challenge someone to name a brand that hasn't failed.
