Thanks for the feedback I think I'm going to proceed. I have a Xikar Havana ashtray which survived two Canadian winters outside and still in fantastic shape.

I have one of these. Broke down within 2 months. Doesn't really work outside unless you are in a sheltered area.
Well.. Picked it up a few weeks back after my cheapo died. Spent a little extra and got the Havana style at my local shop. Matches my tray!
Really digging the soft flame. Great for toasting.
