Wood for wineador
With my wine cooler scheduled to be delivered Monday I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do for drawers. I'll probably only make 2 drawers and a couple shelves for now so I'm wondering if there's any type of wood to avoid like the plague. I'm going to do the majority of it with spanish cedar but would like to finish the fronts of the drawers with something a little nicer looking, thinking rosewood, zebrawood, wenge or walnut. Just don't want something that's going to impart any nasty flavors or scents etc... Any suggestions?

Bummin' a smoke
From my experience none of those you list are particularly overpowering and shouldn't be much of a problem. If in doubt you could always seal the front boards with a wipe on poly to form an impenetrable barrier on the surface. Doing that would likely bring out the grain considerably, also.
