is it really necessary to line the box with cedar?
I would imagine that it isn't necessary, you could store your sticks on the standard metal mesh shelving. However, it will still act as a buffer to humidity change, and in most applications I've seen it's used to better organize the cigars. If I were only storing singles I'd probably go with cedar lining/shelves/drawers. If I were only storing boxes I would just fill that bad boy up without cedar.Quote:
