And when he tells you when it will be done you can count on it. I placed my order January 5th so looking at a 2 month turn around for a complete custom setup.
Has this changed recently? Last I heard he was doing 10-sets a month.

That's what I had read as well - 10 per month.
I used Forrest at wineadors.com for my drawers - 2 orders now and probably going to have to go back for a couple of shelves
Just bought a NewAir 281 S&D from Air N water with code BUYNOW (20%) for about $120
Good luck with the build Chris

Quit screwing around and just build a walk-in
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

Hope you don’t mind me adding this here... I ordered 2/25/15 and will have it by 4/15/15. He is fabulous, very open-minded and honest. Maybe a touch more expensive than someone else, but quality is way better. I looked at a couple builds side-by-side, one from John and the other from someone else and there is no comparing
"About John’s Woodworks
About me….
My name is John Nelson. I am now retired but in my work life I was a Tool and Die Maker. In my last job (27 yrs.) I ended up as Project Manager/Salesman/Engineer for a 20 man plastic injection mold manufacturing operation that was primarily working with Fortune 250 companies. I mention this to point out the fact that I know how to communicate with customers and manage schedules. I am a lifelong woodworker. Ten years ago, my brothers in law, who are cigar aficionados got me started making humidors. The technical aspects appealed to me as well as the artistic elements of furniture making in a small package. It was through the humidor business that I learned of Wineadors and the need for a quality, reliable supplier for those components. Here are my thoughts on how John’s Woodworks operates.
Quality….
I will always strive to provide the highest level of quality, exceeding my customer’s expectations. Everything I make is unconditionally guaranteed against defects, period. All my humidors as well as my wineador components are glued with water proof glue. Survival in a high humidity environment is never an issue with my products.
Delivery….
For wineador components, I can make up to five “sets” in 3 to 4 weeks. That is my lead time. When I receive orders for five sets, I will start a list of names for the next group. You can add your name at no obligation. When I complete the current group I will begin calling names on the list, soliciting a firm order. At that time you can say yes or no and I will either proceed or drop your name from the list. That is the fairest way I know to have a reasonable delivery and still accommodate however many potential customers I might have. At no time will I ever accept a premium to “pull ahead” someone’s order at the expense of other customers. I believe that is just wrong.
Communication,,,
I will provide a weekly update by email for progress on orders I am working on. In case of unforeseen catastrophes (illness, accident, the shop burns down?) I will call directly in order to resolve the issue.
Cost…
I have seen some of the other products that are in the marketplace. While I think the basic engineering is OK, I have made some mechanical as well as cosmetic improvements to my products. I believe (and I hope you agree) my pricing is in line with the quality and service I provide. I have measurements and pricing for the most common wine coolers. If you do not have one of those, if you send me the necessary dimensions I will be happy to quote pricing for you. For standard wineador components payment is on delivery. I prefer a check or money order. If that doesn’t work for some reason, PayPal is a second choice. I will send an invoice 10 to 14 days before I expect to have the order ready to ship so that delivery is not delayed waiting for payment. For custom orders, i.e. hardwood or veneered drawer fronts, a 50% deposit is required.
Options….
I offer the same options as others do. In addition I offer several additional options which I believe add value and/or beauty to the product. These are covered in my price sheets.
If you have any other questions or comments I will be glad to respond to them. In closing I can only add “All John’s Woodworks products are proudly made in the USA”"

Jumpin’ Railcars and Collectin' Cans
I just got my stuff in from John today.
I'll post pics later. But he is SUPER organized and an absolute pleasure to do business with.
As mentioned, he will provide weekly updates. I'm not talking talking "Hey I cut some stuff for you today...", it's more like:
Progress Report for the week February 6, 2015:
Blanks are cut for shelves 100 % complete.
Joinery for shelves is 100 % complete.
Assembly for shelves is 25 % complete.
John
That is a copy and paste of one of my reports.
They shipped exactly when he said they would, he did not take a red cent till he started MY project and from what I've seen so far, the quality is fantastic.
I need to finish un-packing (when the kids are in bed) and test fit. But thus far, John has been an amazing guy to deal with.
