Both use two blades that meet to slice off part of the cap. Is it the ergonomics?
The Xikar V-Cutter actually only uses one blade. And I'm with
@CoachDread
, I like the larger surface area of the cut while still keeping the cap intact.
I have used a Cuban Crafter Perfect Cutter for years and love it. But I received a Xikar v-cutter for Father's Day, used it and had a cigar with a perfect draw. I will have to update this as I use both types.
