The Xikar V-Cutter actually only uses one blade. And I'm with @CoachDread , I like the larger surface area of the cut while still keeping the cap intact.

I do like having the cap intact (I almost exclusively punch). I may have to try one of these sometime.
I know the only problem you can run into is with really small rg cigars.

I have used a Cuban Crafter Perfect Cutter for years and love it. But I received a Xikar v-cutter for Father's Day, used it and had a cigar with a perfect draw. I will have to update this as I use both types.
