Thanks, I tacked a xikar butane to an order I have on its way from Canada humidors but I'll remember that. Thought I've read ronson's not very good but maybe I'll give it a try when the xikar stuff's gone.

If I recall, the issue with Ronson butane is that it is not triple-filtered. Any foreign matter will plug up a torch lighter, or so I've read somewhere.

True. Also, I'm not familiar with Ronson butane, but I have used sub-par butane before and although it didn't clog my lighter, it did produce an awful lot of flair ups in my flame, making it super hard to light a cigar.
