Spanish cedar in coolidors
I just picked up some Spanish cedar planks (1/4" x 4" x 24") to put in my coolidor. It holds humidity well without them, but I'd like to make it more humidor-like, especially the smell. If you have these in your coolidor or winedor, do you bother wiping them down some with deionized water, or just toss them in? I figured it would probably make more of a difference as the amount of cedar added increases.

Just toss them in - they will acclimate. Have done in wineadors and cooler and never wiped anything down.
Sounds like my buddy Gym Bob on eBay - he's a great source for Spanish Cedar.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Yeah I would just put them in dry too. If you do wet them down wait a while before you put them in bc thats alot of moisture for such an airtight container.

Exactly, you don't want to bombard your coolidor with a tsunami of moisture! I would just toss them in...
