    Soft Flame Lighters

I have been toying around the idea of picking up a soft flame cigar lighter. What models do you love? Are there any you avoid?

I have and American Thunderbird from Vector. Wind permitting I always use a soft flame instead of a jet.

Amazon.com: Thunderbird Vector Lighter Insert - Regular: Everything Else

    I love it.

Go xikar, ex. Windproof soft flame, best of both worlds. Not to mention customer service and warranty

If you have the budget can I suggest Tonino Lamborghini Torch Flame, it works as good as a soft flame lighter with the power of torch. Plus it looks sexy AF. I wrote about it here on my selections of best lighters. Top Selection of The Best Cigar Lighter!.

Other then that I would suggest to go with anything xikar, the customer service and quality of the product is impeccable. I have never been let down by a xikar product.

I second the Xikar Exodus Soft Flame. While it's not windproof it is resistant and the wide flame makes lighting my cigars pretty easy. While they can be had for $30 on auction sites they pay for themselves over and over and they are warrantied for life.

Is that to drop into a zippo body?

As long as it hasn't changed, yes. I got mine several years ago and it was a perfect swap.

That is a nice lighter review in your link. Some great information in your site as well.
