For a long time I packed my draw tool with me and used that....up until the time I wasn't thinking and put it in my pocket, sat down and proceeded to jab myself in the leg. It was a serious "ouch" moment.
Now I just have a short plastic toothpick I keep in my travel case.

If a body is going to use a screw, make sure it isn't galvanized!

I have used screws, nails, toothpicks, pocket knife, corn cob holders and even a stick! lol Our B.O.T.L. Jenady was making some really nice nub tools a few years ago. I am fortunate to have one and I use it in my cave all the time.

Here is a peek. It has a corresponding piece that is a cover.

I also am so decadent as to have one of Jay's S.T. tools for out and about (in my pocket)

It is impeccably crafted out of stainless steel and is a joy to use.
Do yourself a favor and get one immediately. Actually, you should probably get 3 cause your buddies will want one after they see yours!

(No, I'm not affiliated with Jay, just a thrilled client)

    Best wishes, Dafiddla

I use a toothpick when needed, but Jay's tool would be much classier.

I did use a screw once though.
