    Review: Bobken Cigar Travel Ashtray

Now I know most of you who have been around the block awhile know of these, if not already owning a few. But for the newer members just entering our world, here is a great inexpensive piece of advice. If you smoke in your vehicle, get one of these.

The cigar Bobken is made of High temp resistant plastic, and works wonders. With an arm extension that allows you to clip it on your window frame, or outside on your decks handrail, heck, anywhere you want to use it.

The design allows it to be placed in a cars cup holder and being flat bottomed can be used as a stand alone ashtray.

The top is just pressed on, no screwtop to deal with. Even though its just press fit, it holds extremely well. If you remove the top and turn it upside down you can see how the inner lid design allows ashes to fall directly into bottom, but when dropping a nub in it any remaining smoke will be captured inside unit.

You can see mine has some age to it. About once a month it gets a washing with dish soap and goes back to looking like new.

A good selling point of this product....Made in America

Priced from $4-8 bucks depending on where you find them they are a good little cigar ashtray, which can double as a spittoon for you tobacco chewers and dippers. They do come in a variety of colors who need something a little flashier than my plain brown swirl.

I've been the proud owner of one of these for about 3 years. Works great, cleans easy and does the job. It's a 5 Star for sure.

For such a simple task, it's very well designed! I have two...one for using, one back in case I left the other in the garage. Very inexpensive...but they do the job quite well. And...great review!

Such a simple, yet greatly needed item for the car or truck! I've had mine for only about a year but I absolutely love it! It's amazing how well it fits "in" with my Ford Escape.

If you're on the fence with getting one of these, do it! You won't regret it.

    Great review!

Definitely a must have for smoking and driving. I think I paid seven bucks for mine and I couldn't/wouldn't drive without it.

    How big is ash hole?
It's not a real hobby unless it interferes with your work.

These are not the technical dimensions, but at least, anything 50 RG (i.e. Robusto, Toro) or smaller will fit thru the hole. I'd say it's about a 52 RG.

The actual Bobken's outside diameter has been described as equaling a 12oz soda can...FYI

  11. Thanks Ropey thanked for this post

Very cool! I'm going to have to look for one of these. I typically use a travel mug with a paper coffee cup shoved into it so that the ash won't fly all over the car. I'm ghetto
