Received wrong lighter... should I return?
Looks like Cbid had a little mess-up on my latest shipment. I won a Jetline DT-101 lighter for $22 and they shipped me a Xikar Turrim.
Would you return it or keep it?

If it was a more expensive lighter, I would contact Cbid and either offer to pay the difference or ask that they send me a return shipping label, and sent me what I paid for. It's the only honest thing to do. If it was the other way around, you'd be crying about it, right?

Perhaps they sent it because they were out of the Jetline. Which lighter would you prefer to have, if they were priced the same?

I would contact them and see what they say. But do whatever you are comfortable with. I have found that life is full of situations similar to this and the decisions that I make determine how I truly feel on the inside about me. But this is just me. Others may not have the same inner voices that inevitably determines who I am by choices I make.

Interesting to see varied takes on this question.
@Old Smokey
...Well stated, in the end it's about how you will really feel...

I guess I should clarify. I'm less interested in the ethics of potentially cheating a multi-billion-dollar corporation and its massively funded, government-backed institutional investors out of a handful of bucks which would probably be eaten up by return shipping costs anyway, and more interested in which is the better lighter.
EDIT:
Doesn't matter, I've decided to return the lighter because frankly I think the Jetline will be more useful. Here is my review:

I had a similar issue with a different retailer awhile back. I told them I received the wrong item, so they sent me the correct one and asked that I return the other.
I never returned the other.
